More and more children in Austria are suffering from mental distress — anxiety, sadness, and feeling overwhelmed have long been part of everyday life for many. In Austria, the number of children struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, or eating disorders has been rising dramatically for years. At the same time, months-long waiting times for therapy places often make it impossible to get help quickly.

Children often express their emotional pain very quietly, in silent messages that are easily overlooked. The CAPE 10 campaign makes these silent messages visible.

This Christmas, OMV is supporting the non-profit foundation CAPE 10 in raising funds for psychotherapy sessions for children at risk of poverty – because not every cry for help is loud.

CAPE 10’s emergency aid fund finances free therapy for children and young people whose families cannot afford it. The goal is to provide fast, unbureaucratic help where it is needed most – so that no child has to face their worries alone.
